We are pleased to announce that Mint Commercial & Health Care Ltd has been awarded a new cleaning contract by Blackpool Council. The two year contract is for three schools in the Blackpool area. The award follows a detailed procurement by the Council and involved the transfer of eight employees.
The Council was impressed with MC&HC’s approach to quality control and at the heart of this approach is SweepUp, a mobile computer system which helps manage the company’s workforce and the tasks they perform.
Mint CEO Debbie McAulay said, “It’s a challenging time but we are really pleased to be awarded this contract. The Council is one of our strong partners and we look forward to working with them over the next two years.”
Mint have worked closely with their technology partner HSP to ensure SweepUp matches the Council’s requirements. HSP Technology Director Steve Lamb said, “SweepUp is integral to Mint’s approach to managing their employees, ensuring work is carried out on time and to the client’s service standards.”
